The unique features of the Sunwaves foil slats can be used with several different systems and applications. Here are some sample uses of the Sunwaves technology.
Sunwaves technology uses static electricity to actuate the unique feather-light Sunwaves foil slats that are free in form and contour. They respond to static electricity; the level of the static electricity causes the slats to move towards its source, like what happens when your hair sticks to a balloon.
The Sunwaves slats consist of a roll of uniquely merged, thin, plastic films. We manufacture this foil in-house and can alter it to meet your specifications for width, colour and prints. We carve specific forms and contours into the foil to make the Sunwaves slats.
The Sunwaves foil with slats is placed between two conductive layers. Once the static electricity is connected, the cut-out Sunwaves slats react by moving upwards !
Their position responds instantly to the level of electoral charge. They can work in ANY position, even when between two horizontal surfaces. These conductive layers can be applied on glass, transparent plexiglass or on fully transparent film.
We produce the roll of Sunwaves foil in-house and carve the slats into the foil in pre-defined shapes and contours so that it’s ready to apply to your system.
This Sunwaves roll can be provided either as a ready-to-use product with pre-defined slats and colours or as a custom special product with the contours, colour and print you select.
We can cut the Sunwaves foil into the length, width and form you require so that it will be ready for application.
We can also provide you with the basic roll of Sunwaves foil and you can carve the slats yourself into any shape you want and mount it in your system.
The static electricity needed to actuate the Sunwaves slats is generated by a low power DC-device. We have developed this simple, but unique low power electron device in-house and include it with your order. This device allows the user to control the movement of the Sunwaves slats in any situation. The power can be supplied by battery, solar or DC and the device can be controlled by remote control or app or also easily integrated into your existing control system. This device gives you the opportunity to open and close the Sunwaves slats when and how you want.
